Make an Invisible Folder in Windows

You can create an Invisible folder in Windows by naming it with a blank space and changing its icon to transparent.

 Follow these Steps:

• Right click on desktop>New>Folder
• Rename it as “ALT + 0160” (means enter the sequence '0160' with ALT key pressed)
• You will notice that a blank space is used for naming the folder.
• Now right click on folder>properties>Customize>change icon…
• Choose a blank icon and click on OK.
• Your invisible folder is ready to work. 

Customize it further to protect it further by changing it to hidden folder.

• Right click on folder>properties>hidden
• click on OK.

Hide and Remove Shortcut Arrow from Desktop Icons and Other Icons

1. Goto start in windows and click 'RUN', type 'regedit' and press enter.
2. Registry Editor will open.
3. Navigate to the following registry key: HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\lnkfile
   
4. Delete the IsShortcut registry value in the right pane. Tip: It’s also workable to just rename the IsShortcut registry entry to another name, such as IsNotShortcut.
5. Some other type of documents and files may have shortcut arrows on their icons too. To remove the shortcut arrow overlay image on these icons, navigate to each of the following registry keys, and then repeat step 2 and step 3 above to deactivate the shortcut arrow: HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\piffile
   HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\ConferenceLink
   HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\DocShortCut
   HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\InternetShortcut
   HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\WSHFile
   
6. Exit from Registry Editor.
7. Logout and login again or restart Explorer for the change to take effect.

Multiple Login in Yahoo Messenger Without Using any Software

You can login with multiple id's on the same yahoo messenger without any download or patch .
Follow these steps :
 
1.   Go to Start ----> Run . Type regedit, then enter .

2.  Navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER --------> Software ---> yahoo  --->pager---->Test

3.  On the right page , right-click and choose new Dword value .

4.  Rename it as Plural.

5.  Double click and assign a decimal value of 1.

Its done!!
Now close registry and restart yahoo messenger and try Multiple Login

Find who is Invisible on Yahoo messenger

Sometimes some of your friends who appear offline in yahoo messenger may not be actually offline, they may in the 'Invisible' mode. This maybe if they are trying to ignore you or are too busy to talk to anyone.

There is this small trick that you can use to find out what the truth is.

Firstly open your yahoo messenger main window and double click on the name of the person whom you want to check. The chat window will open obviously.
Click IMVironment button, select See all IMVironments, select Yahoo! Tools or Interactive Fun, and click on Doodle.
After loading the Doodle imvironment there can be two possibilities

1.If the user is offline Doodle are will show this "waiting for your friend to load Doodle" continuously .See in the picture below:     Sometimes some of your friends who appear offline in yahoo messenger may not be actually offline, they may in the 'Invisible' mode. Add Image to Folder Background in WinXP

In this tutorial , we will see how to add an image to the background of any folder. It looks like this

1) Create New Folder; right click on Desktop, then New folder... or just open a folder in which you wish to add the background image

2) Copy this code in notepad

[ExtShellFolderViews]{BE098140-A513-11D0-A3A4-00C04FD706EC}={BE098140-A513-11D0-A3A4-00C04FD706EC}[{BE098140-A513-11D0-A3A4-00C04FD706EC}]IconArea_Image=(image location eg: c:\background.jpg)

it will look like this.

3)Save the notepad file in folder for which you wish to add background image as "desktop.ini"

4)After this select folder, right click on that folder, click properties and select Customize tab, then click on change icon, here choose any icon, click apply and OK.
After this the background image will appear...
